Winnipeg Mature Women Portraits 50 The New 30

Excited to showcase the wide variety of Stunning Images from this Winnipeg Mature Women Portraits 50 The New 30 blog posting. I recently had a photographer friend come into the studio for a Studio Lighting lesson with my teaching business - The Photo Teacher. Instead of just showing her how to create the lighting, I had her become the model. She could then see the process from the subject's point of view.

So without further adieu - meet Ann from Ann Poole Creations.

Studio Portraiture/Lighting is one of the 5 photography areas that I am Nationally Accredited in, by the Professional Photographers Of Canada (PPOC).

As a Master Photographer, I can create stunning Studio Portraits for Women, Men, and Groups.

In this instance I wanted to take a lovely mature woman, and create a wide array of portraits that would capture her beauty.

Ann is not a model, and is more comfortable camping and hiking, then standing in front of a camera and looking glamorous.

Constant Light Tube

My first lighting instrument was a "Light Tube" - kind of like a Light Sabre from Star Wars fame.

It is a Constant Light and small - so it stays on all the time and creates sharper shadows.

I used 2 to 3 of them to create these closeup portraits of Ann. 

She definitely is the Poster Girl for:  Winnipeg Mature Women Portraits 50 the new 30. 

Ladies - just because you are mature in years - does not mean you should hide from taking GLAMOUR or BEAUTY Images.

Embrace the years - and look your "Beauty Best" with portraits from my studio.

I had Ann bring a number of outfits - and she had no idea what kind of images I was going to shoot.

The closeup portraits covered a casual look followed by a more "dress up" appearance.

47 inch Octabox

Our next style for Ann, was a full-length shot, with her seated.

Changed the outfit to a classy black dress, but had her in bare feet to add a subtle bit of sex appeal to it.

The lighting was changed from a small constant light LIght Tiube, to a 47 inch Octabox Strobe Light.

This created nice soft light that shaped Ann's features and created a very classy glamorous final image.

7 foot diffused Umbrella - Silver Interior

Our next style in this Winnipeg Mature Women Portraits 50 The New 30 posting, is Fashion Lighting.

We changed to a bright Background and used a huge 7 foot diffused SILVER Umbrella.

The SILVER lining gave it an extra "punch" for the fashion lighting. No other lights used.

Our 50 year old outdoor-girl now looks like she stepped out of the pages of Vogue Magazine.

This kind of lighting is very complimentary for Mature Women - as you can see.

36 inch Parabolic Octabox

The final styling for this Winnipeg Mature Women Portraits 50 The New 30 posting is none other then Hollywood Lighting!

Though the real Hollywood has a bad habit of focusing on the younger female stars - there is no reason that a Mature Woman can't have a glamorous Hollywood Style Portrait.

I used a medium sized 36 inch Parabolic Octabox to create a focused light source on Ann's face.

The 7 inch reflectors in the background were used for rim lighting as well as giving that Hollywood Atmosphere.

Ladies - no matter what age you are - you can "have your cake and eat it too".

I can create any style of Portrait that your heart desires.
